The weather was dry but dull for the parade, however the rain never came until later in the afternoon. There was a good mix of themes this year for the parade with all venues represented.

At the gathering of the floats before the start of the parade, we captured the floats of In The Pink Leisure outside the Flying Handbag before they set off to meet the rest of the parade at St Chads. At St Chads many pictures were taken before it all started and the parade got on its way along the prom.

The parade went on time and made it's way along the prom towards North Pier . A good gathering of people were to be seen along the way all supporting the Pride of 2008. These included many families and young children, making it a colourful display to be proud of.
